I came to dr Ali for help because no other meds worked, he was completely disrespectful and did not listen to a word I said and talked over me for 2 hours. Overall complete waste of my time.

Purposely overbooks on a daily basis, leading to a 2+ hour wait. Ridiculous. Last appointment I waited here for four hours, I was hopeful it was a one time thing but here I am, in a packed waiting room, already an hour passed my appointment time with at least eight people ahead of me.

Came to inquire about the services as i have chronic pain and depression/anxiety. The lady at the front was so rude and after reading here i will definitely be going somewhere else. Don't call me sweetie in that demeaning way please.

I have been with the clinic now for 5 years. Nothing but good things to say about staff doctors.very knowledgeable and understanding.seriously if you are considering cannabis for your medicine talk to cannabis clinic

They have no respect for people’s time, I showed up early with more then enough time to complete any required paperwork and then waited. And waited. And waited. Until 30 mins after my appointment time at which point I left. I don’t care who you are, my time and the time of others is dear and needs to be respected.

I am not taking the prescribed medical cannabis yet but I took some over the counter edibles and I feel very good about the products. They helped my chronic pains so much. I will continue to take them as much as I can afford. Thanks!

Dr. Katia Tonkin yelled at me and accused me of being a drug dealer. I have had a prescription for medical marijuana for 6 years now. By AB standards, it might be considered on the high side, but in BC its mid-range. It was first given to me at a pain clinic, here in AB, for moderate scoliosis also an arthritic condition, osteoarthritis, bone spurs ( my sacrum is completely fused to several vertebrae)and a nasty case of fibromyalgia that keeps me bedridden up to 5 days a week. I have asthma and cannot smoke my prescription i make strong tinctures and RSO(Rick Simpson Oil takes a pound each batch), i juice, i eat edibles....... not that any this matter, because none of this was discussed before DR.Katia Tonkin began raising her voice at me, repeating herself over and over “I WILL NOT EVER IN MY LIFE SIGN A ___ AMOUNT...”She repeated this 7 or 8 times even though I was not asking or begging her to change her mind, I simply asked if she knew my condition and if she could refer me to another clinic. I was humiliated, scolded, accused of selling my prescription and ultimately had a prescription thrown at me, by this time she had opened the door and began furiously discussing my personal information with the entire office and full waiting room. This was not a heated conversation, i was barely speaking, literally crying, only quietly pointing out the degrees of my illnesses and handing over paperwork to show xray results and former medical prescriptions, i must mention Health Canada itself has been providing to this capacity for SIX YEARS. Yelling and accusations aside, this is a place sick people come for help, not to be judged by someone who ADMITTEDLY does not know anything about condensed form of marijuana, she could not even refer me to another location (she claimed she couldn’t name any) Im shocked that someone so uneducated and unwilling to learn about medical marijuana’s uses, someone so judgemental and vial tempered is in charge of its distribution.
