We know your kids don’t want to take lessons for years, or practice scales a million times before they can play their favourite songs. Perform Two Songs Like a Rockstar on the piano, guitar or with voice in 8-weeks!
A program for kids 8-18 that ignites their passion for playing an instrument and teaches them to perform their two favourite songs by the end of the program.

I grew up watching my dad play classical guitar, and was amazed at what he could do. I took lessons as a little guy, but the first time I heard Metallica on the radio, I knew I didn’t want to take classic guitar lessons! I got my first electric guitar for Christmas at the age of 12 and I never put it down.
Playing music quickly became a huge part of my identity. I got more serious as I entered high school, and started my first band in grade 10. It felt great to meet like-minded, creative people who were more interested in playing music than going to the mall or playing football!

Students will learn fundamental aspects of their favourite songs like the melody, chords or bass line. By breaking down songs into manageable sections and focusing on key elements, students will be able to improve their skills faster. Of course, regular practice helps!
To get started you will need an instrument – a guitar, uke, or keyboard and a reliable internet connection.
We are happy to teach you any style of music that you like. However, styles like jazz and classical are more complicated and better suited to a longer course of study.
Rockstars practice! To get the most out of your 8 weeks, you should practice regularly. You’ll find that 15-30min per day, at least 4-5 days each week will improve your skills faster than you might think! When you love the song – practice feels way more fun.
